Car Accessories

Car accessories and vehicle electronics from Pictor Mart cover the safety and security devices that actually change how a car is protected — dash cameras that record the road, GPS trackers that recover a stolen vehicle, and personal safety devices for the people inside it. Pictor Mart is the online store of Pictor Telematics Pvt. Ltd., a New Delhi vehicle-telematics company established in 2009.

What should I fit to my car first?

  • If theft is your concern: a wired or OBD 4G GPS tracker with remote engine cut-off — you can locate the vehicle live and immobilise it.
  • If accidents and insurance claims are your concern: a dash camera — recorded footage settles fault disputes that would otherwise come down to one driver's word against another.
  • If family safety is your concern: an ID card GPS tracker with SOS and two-way calling for children or elderly passengers.
  • If you want both in one device: a dash cam with built-in GPS tracking — recording and live location from a single hardwired unit.

Plug-and-play or professionally installed?

OBD trackers plug straight into your car's OBD-II port and start working immediately with no wiring. Wired trackers and dash cameras need a technician for a clean, tamper-resistant install — typically under an hour — but they cannot be unplugged by a thief and they run continuously.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do car GPS trackers need a SIM card?
Yes. Trackers use a 2G or 4G SIM to send location data to the app. Many Pictor devices include a free SIM and data for an introductory period, so they work straight out of the box.

Will a dash camera drain my car battery?
No. Hardwired dash cameras draw power only while the vehicle is running, or use a low-drain parking mode with automatic voltage cut-off to protect the battery when parked.

Can I track my car from my phone?
Yes. Live location is available on Android and iOS apps, with web and SMS access on many models.

Is a dash cam useful for insurance claims in India?
Yes. Timestamped, GPS-tagged footage of an incident is the clearest evidence of fault available to a private motorist, and it also protects you against staged-accident claims.
